Pool decks and exterior staircases take a beating over the winter. Dirt, grime, and debris build up on the concrete and carpet-covered steps, and by the time warmer weather rolls around, those shared spaces can look pretty rough. That's exactly what we were dealing with at Windgate in Bountiful.
We worked through the full pool deck area - scrubbing down the concrete surface around the covered pool and getting into the patio space where residents actually hang out. A deep pressure wash pulls out the embedded grime that regular maintenance just doesn't touch. The difference between a neglected concrete surface and a freshly washed one is pretty hard to miss.
The staircases got the same attention. Between the textured stair treads and the tight spaces near unit entries, these are the spots that collect the most buildup and get the least cleaning. We worked top to bottom on multiple stairwells, making sure every tread and riser was cleared out before moving on.
For property managers, this kind of work matters more than it might seem. Clean shared spaces signal to residents that the property is being taken care of. It also reduces slip hazards on wet concrete and worn stair surfaces. That's the practical side of concrete pressure washing that doesn't always get talked about - it's not just cosmetic.
We handle this type of work regularly for multifamily properties across Utah. Whether it's a single stairwell or an entire pool deck, we come in with the right equipment and do the job right.
