Graffiti on a commercial property is one of those things that gets worse the longer it sits. It draws more graffiti, signals to customers that the property isn't well-maintained, and honestly - it just looks bad. This storage facility had heavy spray paint tags covering a long stretch of their cinder block perimeter wall. Bold black-and-blue layered tags running the full length of the wall. Not subtle.
We came in with our pressure washing setup and got to work on the block surface section by section. Cinder block can be tricky - it's porous, so paint soaks in. You can't just hit it with water and call it a day. The right pressure, the right technique, and working close to the surface all make a difference in what actually comes off versus what just gets smeared around.
The wall runs along a fenced perimeter, which meant working in some tight spots with dry brush and uneven ground underfoot. Not the easiest access, but that's part of the job. We worked through the full length until the tags were gone and the natural block color was back.
What the property owner gets out of this isn't just a clean wall - it's a reset. Storage facilities live and die by how secure and professional they look to potential renters. A tagged-up exterior sends the wrong message before a customer even sets foot on the property. Clean says cared-for. Cared-for builds trust.
Graffiti removal is one of those services where speed matters too. The faster it gets addressed, the less likely it comes back. We handle this kind of work regularly across Utah - block walls, stucco, concrete, you name it.
